Why does your character wish to join Blackguard? If the answer is "gold", tell us why gold matters to them.: Zsenzo is a social creature and prefers being surrounded by a bawdy crew of miscreants that represent her family. She doesn't mind working alone, but it is nice to come "home" at the end of the day and throw back a pint with mates.
Describe your character's past. Where did they grow up? How did they learn their trade? What kind of work history do they have? Whatever you think is relevant to who they are – but aim for at least 3 full lines.: Zsenzo (born Minka Sunwarder) was born to a common family of hunters and fur-traders. She was trained in the skills of stealth and the hunt, which proved handy when her family was killed and she was forced to carve out an existence in the city, first as a pickpocket working for an Orc called Garol Gazda, where she got her nickname (a "zsenzo" being the old orcish word for a small knife like the sort used to cut pursestrings), and then, later, collecting bounties. Her skills eventually landed her in the Horde army, where she has gained some notoriety as an assassin. Zsenzo has above average physical beauty which is a disadvantage in her field as it makes her too memorable. As a result she exclusively wears a covering over her face when working a job.
She laughs loud and often and is difficult to offend. She has a weakness for Don Carlos tequila, dirty jokes, blackjack, and men in leather. A more detailed account of her early background can be found here:

What can they do that would be valuable to a mercenary company?: She is good with a blade and follows orders to the letter. Most importantly, she kills without question or hesitation. Out of long habit, she also takes pelts from her animal kills. Lots and lots of pelts.
What are your character's feelings regarding the other Horde races?: She likes those who are clever, loyal, and fun. Race doesn't matter. She can't be arsed to make too much effort with those who take themselves too seriously or are easily offended though.
Old enemies, old loyalties - does your character have them? Who with?: Her dearest friend is a troll called Zesty, with whom she was partnered with early in her military career. She does have many cousins and other extended family, but she has left them behind permanently with her change of name and identity.
Finally, write a quick paragraph, describing your character doing something typical to them. (This is to help us get a feel for how you play, so make it something you might type in RP.): "Zsenzo chewed her left thumbnail absently before remembering that she was trying to quit biting her nails. She tried to hold back an impatient sigh. This was the worst part, the waiting. Minutes or hours keeping perfectly still, waiting for the mark to appear. She shifted slightly on the pads of her feet, feeling a cramp starting in her left buttock. She could see the mark approaching, and she tensed. He stopped again to berate another underling and she cursed under her breath in frustration. She chewed her thumbnail again, this time tasting some unimaginable filth that must have been left behind from the previous kill. She grimaced and wiped her mouth on her sleeve, then spat silently into the dirt. The mark had resumed his walk and was now approaching. She wiped her mouth again, working her tongue to get rid of the taste. That was it. Done with nail biting. Bloody disgusting. The mark was almost within range. Going to start chewing tobacco instead, I think. Yeah. Next time I am in town, I am getting tobacco. She leaped from her hiding place, slid her blade between the mark's ribs from behind. "Elain Vaughn sends his regards...blah blah blah." and then twisted the blade and pushed the body forward."

Why do you wish to join Blackguard?: I am looking for a fun and immersive experience while gaming. I get bored with just grinding and progression. I recently joined a RP guild called The Initiative which showed so much potential, but it seems the guild leader has gone awol. It's too bad :/. I found this guild on Argent Archives, and it sounds like exactly what I've been looking for.
Tell us a bit about yourself. Hobbies, job, talents, accomplishments, whatever you're comfortable sharing.: I have travelled quite a bit, living in Australia, the US, UK, and currently in Sweden. I was a music promoter for indie bands and one of the hosts for a popular radio podcast and was fortunate enough to meet several prominent celebrities...Jenna Jameson, Ron Jeremy, and even a few who weren't porn stars, but are those really worth mentioning? ;) I was guitarist and lead singer in an all-girl band called Cradlecap, but we were never really good. I did some promotionals for the Fender guitar company and got a nice custom piece out of the deal. I have a two year old son, which is a bit like having a blender without a lid, so please be patient with me if I have the occasional ninja afk. https://www.facebook.com/zsenzoTell us about your background in roleplay.: I am fairly new to WoW, having only played for about a month. Zsenzo is my highest level character at 83. However, I have played many, many other RPGs, including old school D&D, Everquest (was top 5 rogue on Firiona Vie RP server), Rift, D&D online, SWG, LOTR online, etc. I am still learning the lore so I may suffer from chronic noobishness in the beginning, but I will pay attention ;).
